Description
Revo Uninstaller Pro is an uninstaller for Windows: it runs a program’s uninstallation, then searches for the files, folders and registry entries left behind. It can also remove a program whose own uninstaller no longer works.
It suits anyone who wants to keep Windows clean by fully removing software they no longer need. Before a removal, Revo Uninstaller Pro creates a restore point and a registry backup.
“Lifetime · Activation key” option: you receive by e-mail an activation key, together with the download instructions; the key is applied to the software once installed. According to the publisher, the licence allows you to use the program with no time limit; new versions are covered during the update period included in the licence, after which the program remains usable with the versions already released.
System requirements according to the publisher: Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 or 11, 32-bit or 64-bit, or Windows Server; 512 MB of memory and 85 MB of disk space.
Installation and activation
This guide installs and activates Revo Uninstaller Pro on Windows with the “Lifetime · Activation key” option.
Find your licence file
Open the delivery message: your order contains the Revo Uninstaller Pro licence file, with its download link and the place to copy it to. Keep it for step 4. Activation uses this file, with no online activation.
Download the Pro version
On the Revo download page, choose Free Trial under Revo Uninstaller Pro. The installer is offered. Free and Pro are separate programs.
Install the program
Open the downloaded file and follow the setup wizard. Then launch Revo Uninstaller Pro. Its main window opens.
Copy the licence file
Close Revo Uninstaller Pro. Copy the licence file to the place given in your delivery message, then restart Revo.
Check registration
Check Menu → About for Registered to. This confirms registration.
An error message?
If Revo stays in trial mode, check that the licence file is in the place given, then restart Revo.
